    There were stalls of different govt departments show casing their activities.   Stalls of different handicrafts like bamboo, wood, earthen materials, MADUR, jute, hand    loom,silk etc were very beautiful.. ATC -Fulia was given the chance to display the folk rice                 diversity.  One  big stall of 20 feet by 15 feet was given.All the banners, panicles and 10 rice               samples  were   displayed including KALAVAT ( Black rice). It was  introduced by me in                  2008  in   West Bengal from Sambhab of Odisha.Farmers of Burdwan, Sunbdarban are selling           organic rice from the stall. Cooked rice of 4 varieties were displayed for tasting. Komol( No boiling  rice),   Kalavat, Chamarmani and Dehradun gandheswari were kept at the table.Ag                           Marketing Department was selling Tulai Panji, Gobinobhog, Radhatilak rice varieties.
