ATC Fulia tried groundnut under natural farming mode in March 2019. Groundnut was sown in rows giving a  spacing of  10 inch x 18 inch . As the soil has good amount of organic carbon 0.65% , substantial microbial population  and good CEC 12 and pH 7 it gave good yield on 2 ton / ha as per crop cutting report, Its the first time among the govt farms of West Bengal . There was no attack of pest and disease except some sporadic attack of termite that was taken care of by irrigation.
